What is Surrogacy?
Surrogacy can be defined as an arrangement whereby a girl willingly agrees to take a pregnancy and offer delivery to a baby another couple or person.

Almost all surrogacy arrangements involve women, known as a surrogate, and someone or few, usually called the designed parents.

The phrase “surrogate” means a person that functions as a substitute or replacement for another individual. A surrogate mother thus is a woman who housing costs out her womb to a different couple so that they can have their own biological baby.

The surrogate mother becomes pregnant usually by artificial insemination, using the sperm of either the intended father or a sperm donor, or surgical implantation of a fertilized egg with the intention of giving the child she becomes with child with to someone different to raise.

Surrogacy Choices
There are two basic types of surrogacy options- Full surrogacy (also known as Host or Gestational surrogacy) and Partial surrogacy (also known Straight or Traditional surrogacy).

Gestational surrogacy – It is the most frequent of sort of surrogacy. Found in this type of preparations are involved the planned parents of the child and the surrogate mother who agrees to hold the embryo(s) made either from:

1. the egg(s) and sperm of the planned parents.
2. a given egg fertilized with ejaculation from the intended dad prior to implantation, via a process called iva or IVF.
3. an embryo created using subscriber eggs and donor semen selected by the designed parents.

In this form of surrogacy, the surrogate mother is not biologically or genetically related in any way to the unborn child.

Traditional Surrogacy – With this type of arrangement, a surrogate woman acts as both egg donor and surrogate. In this surrogacy agreement, a traditional surrogate wants to donate her egg(s) to be artificially inseminated with the sperm of either the intended daddy or a sperm subscriber.
